Find the receiver holding a Bluetooth sensor connection

Work through nearby apps, model limits and firmware without guessing.

Identify the exact hardware generation

Similar product names can hide different simultaneous-connection limits. Compare the generation shown in the manufacturer’s app or on the unit with the planner selection. If the model is not listed, use Other and consult its manual instead of borrowing the capacity of a newer-looking device.

Count receivers separately for each sensor

Your trainer and heart-rate strap do not necessarily have the same capacity. A watch may use heart rate while a phone app records the trainer; enter those extra receiver counts in different fields. A device remembered in a pairing list is not necessarily actively connected, so confirm which apps are awake and receiving live data.

Reconnect from a clean baseline

  • Close unused training applications on nearby devices.
  • Disconnect an old receiver through its own app when possible.
  • Wake the sensor and connect only the intended primary receiver.
  • Add passive receivers one at a time.
  • Check firmware prerequisites before relying on a documented multi-receiver mode.
